Pulse Domain

Pulse Wallet will integrate Pulse Domains, the PulseChain Naming Service (PNS), into our platform. Pulse Domains is designed to enhance the adoption and utility of PulseChain by providing human-readable, memorable links to public addresses. This feature allows seamless interaction between wallets within the Pulse Wallet ecosystem, furthering the vision of a connected and user-friendly blockchain experience.

What is PNS?

The PulseChain Name Service (PNS) serves a critical purpose in mapping human-readable names like 'alex.pls' to machine-readable identifiers, such as PulseChain addresses, other cryptocurrency addresses, content hashes, and metadata.

PNS allows users to obtain ownership of domains for their personal use through smart contracts. These smart contracts govern the rules for allocating subdomains under top-level domains ('.pls'). The protocol operates with a permissionless model, encouraging broad participation and interaction on the PulseChain blockchain.

Features and Flexibility

One of the significant advantages of PNS lies in its hierarchical nature, providing flexibility and configurability to domain owners. Suppose Alex owns the domain 'alex.pls'. In that case, he gains the ability to create and configure subdomains like 'pay.alex.pls' to his preference, offering a personalized and customized experience within the Pulse Wallet ecosystem.

Moreover, PNS supports the importing of DNS names already owned by the user, enabling seamless integration and usage of existing domain names on the PulseChain network.

Unlocking the Potential of PulseChain Ecosystem

After Pulse Domains becomes available on the PulseChain mainnet, Pulse Wallet will integrate this feature, unlocking the full potential of the PulseChain Ecosystem. This feature aligns with our commitment to empowering users with a secure, user-friendly, and adaptable wallet experience, ultimately driving the adoption and utilization of the PulseChain network.
